Samsung 2100c IRD

Hi,
Can anybody help me, is the reciever IRD the same as the Nagra IRD serial code displayed in the eng menu ?.
I read in another post that it should start with a 3e for the samsung 2100c, but this code is all numbers starting with 10.
Any help would be appreciated.

Found another article, the number is decimal, i contverted it to hex with windows calculator, now it starts 3e.

To be honest this jtag thing scares me a little, i read on another thread that the first 10 digits are the decimal version of your ird.
my box was modded by somebody else, so can i just copy the bin file from my funcard to my pc and using nagraedit, read the ird and bk from that ?.
was a bit peed of as box was only chipped for 3 days before it went off

dont do that use the v3 crypthex file just load that into the flash and write

in other words load your programmer software dont aree to anything (cancel) have your card in the programmer get the crypthex file v3 for yor area and load that into flash and program get stuck just ask on here

That sounds interesting, i have the crpthex file, thanks to a member of this site. so basicaly your telling me i dont need to know the ird and bk, to get it up and running again.
i tell you this mod lark, reminds me of when i was learning about psp downgrades etc.
i will get the hang of this.

yeah as easy as that just load the correct crypthex file for your area and flash pop car into the box wait 15 mins should all be back up and running

No, spoke too soon, left the card in the box for 3 hours, still only getting none subscrition channels. .
read my funcard 6, ext eeprom, i can find my ird in it but unsure which digits are my bk number.
is their anybody here that if i email the ext eeprom file to them, they would be able to tell me which number is the correct one. .
i think i got it right but unsure, as all the threads describe the same symptoms as i have, if you get the bk number wrong.

make sure you are using the correct v3 crypthex for your area and it needs to be v3 and this goes into the flash also make sure you have the card in the box the right way up otherwise mail me with your addy i will send you the flash file viewer

Word of warning. not all cable companys use their own systems, my area is fed by another company, so i had to use the files for that area.
A really big thanks to everybody who helped me. If it wasn't for you guy's i would have gave up age's ago.
The learning curve was steep, but well worth the effort.

The nagra serial in the eng menu is the IRD, just needs to be converted to hex format to get the 3e number.
