Ngage QD

Hi all

errm just got an ngage QD but its a demostration one, some of the features are apparenrly locked, all works fine, not stuck a sim in it yet

just wondering if it could be reflashed to be like a normal one

The first thing I would suggest id to try a sim in it first m8. If it is a prototype then you might like the differences.

As for the flashing, well unless there are hardware differences then you should be able to flash with the latest firmware.

ok ive iserte sim into it its asked for the pin and everything normally, but wont connect to an antenna, the icn has liek a little x where ther bars should be

What network sim are you putting in, and are there any error messages on screen like - Invalid sim or sim registration failed ??

Don't these have an offline mode? I'm sure my brothers used to have this setting..... it would cause the symptoms you describe.

ive looked at the ngage, its set into the offline mode!

when i try and change that thou it says..."ngage demo, not allowed"

since its a demo version, this is why i was interested in if flashing it will make it work?
