    Default ST1000

my contract is about to expire, got a call from the company called ST1000 - offered me 15 quid a month 400 minutes free a month and 200 text a month with a new phone..

now I am cautious about this and was wondering anyone heard of them, dealt with them,

If you are unsure of them then dont use them.

I have had loads of calls from different 3rd party companies offering me deals. I usually ask them are they direct from the network, if not I get rid of them and use my network. Or I go back to the place I got the original contract from.

If things sound too good to be true then they usually are m8.

got another call from the same company different person, this time they quoted me a different price and plan, anyway I didnt and wouldnt go for it.. sounded a bit dodgy - s you say I will stick with my current provider as I havent had any problems, and I can probably get another good deal from them...

My mum got a call out of the blue from these people. She was with CarphoneWarehouse and she asked the caller if they were calling from cpw. They kept being shifty and just offering a "really good deal".

Told her she was getting a 12 month contract at £17.50 per month. She was very specific with her questioning; she ain't daft. But they are ultra slick. Turns out that because she allowed the first payment to go out of her account, she has in effect agreed to the terms of the contract...which turn out to be an 18 month contract, with 6 months at £17.50 (going up to £40 p/m for the following 12).

I've since looked on website and as already mentioned no postal address. NEVER GOOD!

If it were me, I'd avoid like the plague.
