Multi IM client Like Trillian?

Hiya.
Im looking for a Universal Im client that runs like Yahoo/msn/icq etc.

I used Trillian 3.1 for years but is there anything better out there?

Mime and those open source ones i found a bit crap.

I don't think you'll get any better than Trillian, do you use it currently? Have you used the pro vesion?

Might be better off in Other VoIP/IM

Like headsortails says there's not really anything better than Trillian, but a Windows version of GAIM has been ported. http://gaim.sourceforge.net/

Yep used Trillian 3.1 pro then Gaim then Miranda all seem shit compared to the real thing and only slightly more dodgy than Trillian

I use Gaim at work, I like it because it's discrete.
Has it's issues but not as much as MSN!

You simply can't beat trillian for speed/memory usage/plugins and compatability.

I'm currently testing Trillian 4 Astra and it's even better, so stick with 3.1 until v4 comes out, you wont find better.

Yea i was looking at Astra looks very nice might have a go at joining the beta program.

well I have another problem now im using Trillian 3.1 pro and I know ther eused to be a prob with the msn.dll 3.0 that wouldnt login to new msn/live servers anyway i have tried to update the dll according to instructions to the new 3.1 one and it still wont work and it displays the plugin host as msn 3.0 I am sure i have done it right anybody any ideas?
