I couldn't care less, friendlies are boring as fuck. I'm sure I'm not the only one with this opinion either. I think the last game I actually enjoyed was England-Argentina.

I don't miss many England matches. It has 2-2 written all over it tomorrow. We went to see Spain training and must say they didn't like the cold weather one bit! They're without Raul and Garcia and we don't have what you'd call our strongest side. I'd lke us to paste them though.

What was the point in bringing Barton on with 12 minutes to go? More to the point, what was the point in playing Lampard for 78 minutes? The point was to give Barton a shout but not let him have enough time to potentially outperform Lampard and upset the applecart. A lot of these sacred cow english players are simply strolling through games as they know their place in the squad is a cert. It's the type of cronyism that blighted Sven's era and just cements my conviction that McLaren is just Sven mark two.

SWP as well. If he wasn't playing for Chelsea and if his old man wasn't Ian Wright does anybody really think he'd be getting a game seeing as he's played about ten minutes of competitive football this season and during that ten minutes he was actually quite shit?

Friendly or not, what does my head in is the lack of effort or urgency. A lot of them seem to treat it like a pre season friendly for their clubs rather than than being proud to wear the three lions.

Too many players are an automatic selection and they know it, the shape of the team was shit, not enough desire or hunger, no passion or drive, no reaction to going one down or losing, maybe it was too cold for them.

Supporters paid to watch and travel on a freezing cold night to see England (with the exception of Gary Neville, steven gerrard and Micah Richards) play a training session of pass around don't shoot.

Foster: One good save, one gaol nothing much else.
G.Neville: Consistent, you know what you are going to get from him, no matter what the occasion.
    Woodgate: Nothing spectacular.
    Ferdinand: o.k
P.Neville: left back, no, no , no.
Wright-phillips: should not be in the team, how often has Mcclaren been to watch Chelsea reserves.?
Gerrard: Played well, but still not club form.
Lampard: Didn't give the ball away, but didn't do much with it either.
Dyer: Ran well but that was about it.
Carrick: Kept knocking the ball into spaces where they were no England players.
Crouch: must of boned the referees daughter before the game, but was still useless.
    Subs:
    Barry: Did o.k, nothing spectacular.
Defoe: Looked lively but that was all he did.
Micah Richards: Played well and didn't look like he had just come along for the stroll.
Downing: cannot produce club form at international level.
Barton: tried but 10 mins ffs, was it worth it.
    Carragher: Usual Carragher performance.

Mcclaren: starting to look like third choice and can only see him taking England backwards. After the match he said he had learnt a lot about his players, yeah no heart no passion no drive and commitment and he will pick them again for the next match.
We need a fully fit Owen, Rooney back and to sort out the midfield, as well as a world class manager who is a good motivator (in my opinion).

thought foster, woodgate, barry, barton, richards all made the best of a bad situation and should will be in the next squad at least maybe take a gamble on nugent?

drop fat frank to the bench in the euros(if we get there ffs) we will need strong bench playing them(him and steve)in alternate games(or bringing one of the bench) surely will be better for england

people moan becks has no pace but that is all swp has(chelsea fans you know we only paid 1 mill for lennon dont you?) there is no one that can put a half decision cross in let alone the crosses that david can do

i like mcclaren the man seems like a nice guy but we know where they come dont we!!!!

when we dont get to the euros we will all look back and say(i did at the time)well maybe sven was not that bad 1/4final every comp better then no comps at all!!!!!!!

England dont get a result in Israel then its tatty bye to McClaren!!! Lampard and Neville on the left for us!! I thought at first he may bring summat new! But im with Maccarone on this one ! you come in the bottom half of the league in italy you usually get sacked ! You come bottom half of the league in England you get the Top job!! England are a set of jokers at the minute!

    My boycott is still on.

Its not like it was one bad game, England have been worse than awful every game they have played so far under him.

That formation and team line up was fucking atrocious - nearly as bad as my spelling.
