error 4 is no platform / transport stream
check cable connection and freq in engineers

thanks but it wont let me go in the eng menu it start up datin as soon as i plug it in n my cable is fine as i have another box runnin on it

You'll have to take a risk and pull the red jumper in that case, before you do this make sure you have the BK/IRD as they may be required to use the fun card set net id method if you have to reset the net id if you're not in a pure area.
