Following some recent advice from Rampino, i can tell you that clouds are a very unsuitable base for foundations!

Looks good, though what was the reason for building so high? Looks like they could have taken the road down into the valley a bit. [I havent got time to read the rest of the article...]

Yea thats the French bridge they drove some cars over it in Top Gear one time it can rise and fall up to 10 feet in places depending on the weather and temprature

Nice pics, though I think you will find the tallest proper bridge (cross water) is the Akashi Kaikyo.

Hey, I was there on Saturday. Drove over it and went down in to Millau to look up at it from the valley. Built by the French but designed by the English (Sir Norman Foster).

Aaah, but the title says the worlds "highest" bridge not tallest. At it highest point, you could fit the Eiffel Tower under the road deck of the Millau Viaduct.
