    Default Business Banking Recommendations

I'm looking for a new business bank account, my current one HBOS have made a couple of mistakes recently that have cost me money and time to sort out so I'm looking for a new account somewhere.

The most important thing is it most have a decent online service, I rarely have to go into the bank as I don't have anything to deposit as everything is done electronically.

I'd like as much interest as possible, with HBOS I have two accounts, my main one and an ebusiness deposit account that I get 2.something % with but it's just a deposit account and I have to move money to my normal account to use it (although this happens instantly).

Cash card/keycard to access cash from a cash point is also required.

I rarely use cheques but I don't mind paying when I do provided the fees are not too high.

    Anyone got any recommendations?

    Check out this:

We're just about to switch from BOS. There's no particular problem with BOS, although they do not offer a debit card with our current account which has been an issue. But their deposit account is only 4.1% and if we switch to the A&L we get 5.51%.

a lot of smaller shops use A+L as you can/could use post office branches for everything including change orders etc.

We use barclays at work and everythings fine but i think it's heavily dependant on your local business team.

ah that would make sense then cos we have a post office inside the shop so its not that far away and we do indeed get change from there

if thats the only reason then you could discard my recommendation, but CJ seems to like them still

what do you mean by mistakes? i assumed that since everything, especially if you never visit the branch and do it online, is done by computer so it couldn't be wrong?
