Locked Pace1000

I wonder if there is anyone that can help me.

I've got a Pace 1000 *** box, and I've been using the funcard service for some time now. Recently updated the card, but its not making any difference. Seems funny as some of the channels are working, despite there being no card inserted.

Has the box been knocked out? And if so is there a way to get it to behave again??? I've got all the radio channels, Beeb 1 and 2 and audio description channels of terrestrial, if that helps to identify any problem.

Any help and advices gladly accepted!!!

If the card is a fun au card that recently went off then you simply need to overwrite the flash on the card with the v3 version using a suitable programmer.

The if you have the IRD and BK then create the ext eeprom file again, erase the fun card a couple of times, then write the ext eeprom and then the flash as 2 separate steps and see what happens.

Actually, I've not been able to resolve the problem at all. I've bought a 4000 series box now, with a rolling card. All working fine now, except there is an odity with the remote control.

I can only change channel one at a time. Once the channel has moved on once, I have to press the tv button (or any other function button in fact) to be able to change the channel again. Although, if I use the buttons on the front of the box, it changes channel fine. Am I using the wrong remote? Same one as before from my pace 1000 box.....

sounds like you put it a old progame on the card or the mix int progame with the ext programe i once had that problem once i earsed the card and done it again every think worked fine

use the image that comes with the crypthex for the funcard m8 make ure image with this and make shure that u are using crypthex v3 as ure flash leave it for 10 to 15 minits to update and u shud be ok
