Quick question. Can i plug this into the network and access??? It has a CAT5 port on the back but you cannot access the features from the remote? IS it possible to make it a accessable network device?

The ethernet and eSATA ports are disabled officially, unsure if they can be unofficially enabled mind.

I was wanting to know the same thing. I know you can put it onto a dvd or vhs but for that you need a recorder, and would probley only go at 1x. (not tried it yet).
