Laura Branigan and Ten Pole Tudor were added - good suggestions!
I've made it over 1000 now, and I'm calling it a day, so if anyone wants a copy let me know.
Here's the final list:

Asha must have been 90's this was one of the first CD singles i bought and only been buying for 14 years. So i reckon early 90's unless it was a re-release. I thought the same of 808 but not sure.
jj tribute - HTFR 1991 http://www.htfr.com/more-info/MR118885
Cubik - HTFR 2003 http://www.htfr.com/more-info/MR110745
Did nto think 808 was only 4 years back.
Original Asha was 89. I gt the vinyl here to prove it. Original Cubik was also 89 as well cos I checked though don't have it.
That makes snese on the 808. Asha were way ahead of thier time then. Good single.
I have not been to HTFR for ages, they used to have a break down when things were re-released. Shame to see they have slipped!

Wow great list so far.
A few artists to add
Fast Eddie, Tyree, Richie Rich, Doug Lazy, Beloved, Sterling Void, Coldcut, Jack n chill, Kid n play, 10cc, Pop will eat itself, Orange juice, Orange Lemon (Dreams of Santa Anna), Rofo, Big Fun, Rondo Veneciano, Rhythm Device, Rhythim Is Rhythim (Derrick May), Bizarre Inc, Renegade Soundwave, Joan Armatrading, The Brat (Chalk Dust - The Umpire Strikes Back) .......
Is it wrong to still hate Joe Dolce after 27 years for Shaddap You Face? I vote he gets stricken from the list and sent to oblivion for all eternity for his crimes against music and holding Ultravox off the top spot with Vienna.
Did I ever tell you you're my hero?
