HDD based cable box

Hi guys, Is there a 3rd party cable box that i could buy that will do the same as the old bellywest TV drive? That has some ( if not all ) of the same features. Cheers.

Starview have a new receiver out that has a dual tuner and Hard drive option, but as far as i am aware no High Def.

been waiting for dreambox for 18 months keep telling me in 2-3 months.
long wait...................................................
last time i rang dream people in germany the guy said hard ware ready software another few months.

Dont hold you breath with Dreambox software, even the 600pvr which has been out a few months now has NO uk image. Better off with a Starview PVR for now, got both and reckon the Starview is far superior. As far as I know there is only 1 HD channel anyway on Virgim Media and that doesnt broadcast all the time

ALmost all of the HD content on cable is only availabe via the menu, much of that is just upscaled. BBC preview is the only constant since ITV dropped their trial. There are several HD boxes working in Germany ( I can't find the link I found them on, a German Sat site) it can't be long before we get them here but what for? Sky won't give cable the drippings off their nose leaving us with downloaded stuff only.
