Nintendo DS Anyone got the EZ-Flash V?

I've got no worries about buying an M3 or an R4, but I've bought the EZ-F series II, III, and IV and have never had anything but good things to say about them. So, has anyone got/used the EZ-F V and is there any any reason for me to go for the M3/R4?

    Cheers.

I still can't decide. I'm not in a massive hurry so I'm going to wait a bit and see how things pan out- I rushed and got one of the very first batch of EZ-IV's (the shoddy ones- it takes me 5 mins to pick the microSD out!) and wished I'd hung on for a bit.

im not impressed that the ic's are only protected by a label. None of the other slot 1 solutions are like that are they ?

some models of the R4 just have those cheapy blob chips, (whatever theyre officiallly called), i was quite impressed the EZFV had a proper chip in there.

"Cheapy blob chips?" The EZF-V has a "propper chip?" Sorry for being thick, can you explain please?

a proper chip is a real soldered on discrete component. A 'blobby' chip is where the logic is created on the circuit board itself and covered with a blob of resin.

theyre definately not built for the long term, but unlikely to be unreliable. Its the same circuitry and technology (roughly) as the real chips just not in a proper package
