US to UK is generally not good. I used to host a few servers in Florida on dedicated 100mbit connections and 100mbit US to 100mbit EU was only ever getting a few hundred k/s at best.

Giganews' US server will no doubt be the same.

If you're not still in your 12 month contract you could always phone their customer retentions and tell them you're leaving for sky. most of us on here did and are now on 20Mb at £18 a month, hehe!

I did mate, my year was up about a month ago, so I was straight on the phone to see what I could get. They didn't have any of it. I even ended up fucking off the phone & TV. Maybe another try is in order, or maybe upgrade to the next package and see what they say.
