    Tech O2 xda orbit tracking??

We have all had new phones at work O2 xda orbit's with route 66 navigator 7 on them.
when my gaffer gave me mine he winked and said "watch what time you book on your time sheets now you have this phone"..
can they track this mobile with route 66 on to see where i am via gprs ETC, or via any other method?

could ther be no more 2.30 finishing and kipping in laybye's
Sometimes i like nasty close ups,
Sometimes I like them air brushed,
Sometimes it's a spread brown eye,
    Sometimes it's girl on girl.
Sometimes a steamy letter will do it.
And not often, but sometimes I like the idea of a chick
    with a horse.

Theoretically they could create an app, that reads the locatation from gps (providing its enabled) and uploads via your data service at certain periods.

Programs like Modaco's Cameraware use this method to plot a journey tracker (shown as an overlay on Google maps) and log journey details (speed, time etc).

Not sure what the legality of tracking your movements would be however, and you could always just block the phone sending any data

why not just use one of the many services like verilocation. Ok it works on rf triangulation from signal towers rather than gps, and there is a small charge, but doesn't involve buying any weird s/w or data fees.
