x264 to xvid

I wanted some recommendations on which software to use to convert x264 files to standard xvid. I'm looking a one click solution (all in one bit of software)

Im looking for the same m8 but my file is a .mkv. Did you find anything to do it?

this software converts all sorts. If you get a error just choose another decoder.

Im not an expert but i think MKV is a container its not actually a codec type, it can contain XVId, video inside it.

Would like to ask, why do you need to convert from one lossy format to another?

If you want to watch it on your pc then there is no need to convert, if you want to watch it on your tv convert it to dvd with winavi or convertx2dvd.


VLC plays mkv and lots of other formats
