I've just got one from O2 and confirm it comes with a 1GB card with the UK maps already on - and it's unlocked! and it was free ;-)

sure if thats the best to go for
the best by a long way for an external bluetooth gps reciever is
holux gpslim 240, its about 3cm length x 1cm width about the same size a a standard box of matches...
it has 20 satellites and usually locks on within 10 secs and has never lost it connection..
i use it with my nokia n80 with the latest maps of these forums (god bless Russ)...
thats one of the reason why i have'nt updated to a n95, the built in gps reciever doesn't sound as good...
check this link for info
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Holux-SIRF-3-G...QQcmdZViewItem
i will be amazed if you can find a better one for the money....
hope this helps

Hi Rap, Im using the same as bulletproof the holux gpslim240 works better
than others i have tested inc tomtom one and the activepilot one and some other 3rd party makes.
I would agree that i have never lost lock and it works nicely in your jeans pocket
aswell. not as robust as some but the size is the best thing.
Battery life is also good and uses a v3 / mini usb to charge ideal as this is the same as the tomtom and n95 cables
anyone able to try the tv out cable that comes with it.
mine outputs video but no sound.
also the headset that comes with it, none of my buttons work. and when i insert it it asks which type of device it is.
whats everyone elses doing.
looks like mines might be faulty.
Just got this today nd on the whole am impressed with it. Not so impressed with the fact that it dint come with a memory card or any preloaded maps. Where can i get the maps from?

Just wanted to post here about how impressed i am with the phones integrated web browser, just followed a link from a music forum (which i logged into and it remembers my login) followed a link to rapidshare (which it opened in another window), inserted my verification code and downloaded a 90mb mp3 without a problem.
Very impressed with it's capabilities!
