Did you upgrade using paper mario? and do you still have 2.1E as version in setttings?

No, I didnt update with Mario. It was 2.1E before the update, but I didnt check the version after - Ill have a look when I get home later..

ok thx, it'll be interesting to see if the paper mario upgraded wii's, still update correctly
with the new european firmware...

I did the system update earlier, at a guess it's probably just an update for the browser engine to the latest.

I'll check what version once opera has finished downloading,it's rather slow for me at the moment

the system update takes it upto 2.2E but ive read that SPM will still insist on performing its update.

The new browser is really nice, i'm impressed. Theres no problems viewing sites now, even with the lowly 480i/p resolution.
