Xbox 360 Elite delay till November for Europe?

Since the announcement of a US release of the Xbox 360 Elite a few weeks back, rumours have been flying around about when the machine is going to land its sleek black shoes in the UK.

However, as Friday afternoon starts to draw to a close, the news of the week hits our desks, as unconfirmed reports suggest the Elite wont arrive 'til November.
A few phonecalls later, and we're informed that the Microsoft has been making pubishers aware of the UK release date over the last week.

I hope it hasnt been delayed. I was looking forward to purchasing this in the summer and trading my old one.

i think MS may have originally had the idea of the elite to take the steam out of sonys marketting of the PS3, but since theres no steam in it, they mite as well just wait untill the next sales rush.

You can buy a ps3 anywere, and most shops have already dropped the price of them, ie whsmith are selinng them at 399 now and still cant shift them lol. Yet try and buy a wii, i havent seen them in shops round my way since christmas
