Hi, what software can you use to record records so as I can write them to CD
I bought a package to do it with tapes a few years back but was way too impatient to do it as it was very complicated.
I found this if it's any good..?
Vinyl converter
I used to simply use cooledit and record from the line in then save as .mp3 - very easy IMO. PM me for a link to cooledit 2k working.
Get yourself Adobe Audition, Gold Wave, or Soundforge (or any good .wav editor)
Hook the turntable up to the line in on your PC, adjust the levels in the windows volume settings and away you go. Just simply hit record from within the software and it should pickup the input no problems.
You can get software to remove all the hiss & crackle but I've only ever found this a very tedious. Check Steinberg clean for such software.
