Help with flashing

I've got a xbox 360 with a samsung MS28 drive which the laser has died on me. I can't be bothered to replace the laser as I have a spare hitachi drive kicking about.

I've got the orig.bin file from the samsung drive and I'm quite good at using mtkflash.

However when it comes to the Hitachi drives its just a bat files that does all the work for me. What program or commands do I need to use to flash the firmware, insert the key and copy the modded firmware back to the drive.

change the laser from the hitachi to the sammy thats the easiest option
no need to flash drives and risk breaking

plus u dont use mtkflash for a hitachi drive u need toolbox v3

That's great news. I thought the lasers in the samsung drive would be different to the hitachi's, but if swapping them will make them work I'll give it a shot. Don't fancy the loud hitachi drive.

I used the mtkflash on the sammy's. On the hitachi's I boot into Windows use a command flash23s and that does all the work for me, but can't seem to find out if I just wanted to write a bin file to the drive.
