    Default Drive Copy?

    Heres the situation

At the moment ive got 2 x 320Gb SATA Hard disks in my PC. Ive got XP installed on a partition of one of these disks. Im in the market for an 80Gb or so SATA drive on which i plan to install XP and have the other 2 purely for storage. What i want to do is copy my entire drive that XP is on and flop it on to the new 80Gb drive so i dont have to reinstall Windows and all my apps............... What i want to know is if its possible or not and if it is what program is best for undertaking such a task?

    Your help appreciated

Most drive manufacturers have their own software to do this plus other options like partitioning, formatting etc..

    for maxtor its called maxblast
for western digital its called data lifeguard utilities

you can find them on their websites and im sure others do the same.

I use this too. Really easy to use.

In the past I have used powerquest drive image which I found worked fine for a similar task as you want.
