Hi m8, you should find an icon in the same folder named BB5_calc.exe. Click that and a pop up should say "DONE"

Then click "SP Unlock" again and it should unlock.

My n70 is now sort of buggered. The screen has gone all funky with random fuzz half the time and complete blankness the rest of the time. I entirely sure it's unrelated at what I have done in relation to this thread but thouht I'd better stick it in here for future reference just in case any funny things do start happening.

Went and got a new contract with a 6300 now which is nice but if anyone has any vague ideas on how to un-bugger my n70 then I'd be glad to hear them.

Hi m8, if the handset still powers up then try the online Nokia server and flash it. Or I could take a look at it if you would like me to. If so then PM me for details.

I am not saying that flashing it will help, but may be worth a try.

Termy mate, just trying to piss about with it a bit now. By the Nokia server did you mean the Nokia Software Updater? It works ok but just tells me that there is no updated software. Is it worth giving the BB5 Reaper thing a try?

This is the error I get when I try to flash it. Before that I did get an error about the fact that I selected RM-84 and the phone was showing as "unknown".

Any ideas?

Hi guys. When I connect the DKU-5 cable to the 6680, the phone reports "enhancement not supported" and the phone just can't be recognized by the software. Any ideas why?

I am new to all this stuff therefore you will have to excuse me if I sound too stupid.

I need help please to unlock my 6680. Thanks to Termy he did guide me before.

I managed to get DKU5 cable from Amazon, but it is not the origional as described. I managed to get the phone IMEI read somtime from the programme, but then the programme get stuck on 'Wait' ... and nothing happen. sometime its coming up with message 'bad connection/reconnect FBUS cable/turn on off/restart'

I tried to install the DKU cable but my Window Vista is saying that the driver is uptodate. It might be due to the Nokia PC Suite already installed on this computer.

Why are you trying to change the product code m8 ? You can debrand it once you have got the handset up and running.

It sounds like a cable problem. I have been playing around with cables all day and found out that pins 1, 5, 6, & 7 need to be connected at the phone end of the cable.

Pins 1 & 8 - GND (Linked At POP Port/Phone End)
Pin 6 - RX
Pin 7 - TX

I am sure the information concerning the USB connector is available on the internet somewhere as I used the RJ-45 connector.

I am pretty sure this software wont work on Vista, and also you may have the same cable problem as above.

I'm not trying to intentionally lol. I knew I was going to cock this up somehow.

What i'm guessing now is that I found the latest generic n70 software where in actual fact I want to flash with the regular three firmware that was already on my phone.

Guess I'm off to try and find the right one then!

I used DKU 5 serial cable to unlock n70
Dejan's software reads the phone correctly,
But when click on "make log" gives bad connection error.
Is there any modification for dku 5 serial cable to unlock n70?

Unlocking Nokia E65

Hi,
I'm new here and i was wondering if anyone has sucessfully unlocked a Nokia E65 phone?
I have got a DKU-5 cable and have tried using the Dejan program to read from my E65 but it does not seem to work.
I have tried all the COM ports but my windows hardware manager tells me the DKU-5 cable is on COM5.
Can anyone give me a pointer as to what i could try next?

Please read the thread more carefully, you will see that this software does not cover the E65.

Yes, depending on the network it is either via code or testpoint unlocking.

The majority of the BB5 handsets can now be directly unlocked via testpoint, even the N80 and 6280.

I got a usb cable somehow wont let me change the port number . i got the nokia suite installed on the system . i have download the program and tried to install it (when i run the batch file i get a error unable to open com port ) i wonder if you could help methrough
