mum had 2 before me, dad had one after me but thats a drop in the ocean compcared to the amount of kids my grandmother had. 11 kids, (one being my mother) most of which went on to have 5+ kids of their own.
At my grandmothers funeral there was over 60 close relatives and endless offspring, there wasnt enough seats in the church!

Got 1 sister and a half brother............ I wish i was an only child though cos being the oldest i was always the one that "had to set an example" so i wasnt allowed to get what i wanted when my little sister was spoilt rotten!

My fathers family is massive 12 in total , and most of his sisters, brothers went on to have 5+ children..however I am the only child in my family.

I wouldnt say I was spoilt rotten but it was nice not to have to share things with others.

Very true, even at the age of 27 my every move and choice in life comes under much scrutiny.

Many a times I thought if I had a brother or a sister it would of lessened the burden somehow
and took the focus off me a little perhaps.

Eldest of 5 brothers, youngest is now 20, don't know how my parents coped, it was a right battleground sometimes. wife has 1 real brother, 3 half sisters, 3 half brothers and a step sister and brother. Christmas is an expensive nightmare.
