Xbox 360 Elite Commercial

Following the Elite's release in the States, Microsoft has a new ad campaign to promote the console, take a look below. Essentially an upgraded Xbox 360 console, the Elite features a new shiny black finish, a 120Gb hard drive and a high-definition HDMI output. On sale in the US for $479, a few industry insiders believe the console will be released in the UK late summer, but Microsoft has yet to reveal an actual date.

i've heard that the ones released in the uk will be white again tho, i hope not as they do look better in black tbh

Would be nothing short of insane realeasing it in white, isnt the fact it is black
one of the most appealing factors, aside from the obvious other upgrades.

Im actually holding out for an elite myself but not if its going to be white

from what iv heard its not a proper black finnish, but almost a grey/black finnish! if thats true then it wont look that nice! if its PROPER black like the PS2, PS3 & XBOX, then it will look ACE!

EDIT: found a pic

if that the actual colour and not just a dodgy pic, then i dont like it! its not a proper black! i know theres a few pics that make it looka real dark black (like the one below), but me thinks they have been photoshopped to make it look more appealing!

i cant believe the top is still grey just makes it look gay, and i thought it had a HD dvd drive.

nope no hd dvd in it, would have been nice thou. i would haveliked them to just fix the 3 red light problem first before a new model was realised

The 3 red light issue shouldnt be so much an issue with the elite, if at all.

If i remember rightly they do intend to do similar with the standard 360's.
