Question 'Fooling' NTFS with time & dates

    Hiya

How easy is it to put a file onto a PC with NTFS & XP but end up with a totally different time/date stamp as to when the file was actually copied across?

Is it as easy as changing the BIOS/OS date and then copying the file across?

    Any links appreciated

Piece of piss using a program known as "properties plus" - If you can't get hold of it, pm me your email address.

Hope it did what you wanted!

It's a great app to install anyway - I always install it on my new systems along with an old version of treesize.

Also the changing time method would work, because as far as the pc is concerned, that is the time. Just make sure it's not set to automatically check on the net to get correct time.
