    Flights...

    www.skyscanner.net
    www.travelsupermarket.com

I use travelsupermarket for hotels as well. But when we went to prague we got our own apartments in the old town square, really good location because its near all the bars. We got picked up from the airport by the company etc and it came to something like £80 each for 3 nights and transfers and the apartments were pretty spot on. Thats from www.a-prague.com. its worth looking on as they have plenty to offer.

Am off to Amsterdam next month and went to Prague not long back so if you need any more help let me know

I've been to Dam many times. Do you have a budget at all for the trip before I start suggesting things that are out of budget.

I was looking to do the same Eindenhoven flight for Rotterdam carnival in July... I take it that's on the RyanAir sale?

I always stay at a pretty decent hotel in the Vondel Park area, its WAY away from the red light but is beautiful and has loads of good shops and museums close by. I honestly couldn't recommend anything cheaper but even so Hotel Vondel where we stay is only £60pppn when two share, and it truly is the nuts.

The last time I went to 'Dam, we stayed in a hostel. There were 6 of us, and it was 6 to a room, so worked out very nicely indeed. I think we paid about £12 a night with breakfast included, very reasonable if you don't mind sharing a shower
I'll look up what the place was called and let you know if I can find it

I've been to Amsterdam twice. Both times there were groups of 8-10 of us and both times were booked just using t'internet. Flights and hotels booked seperately.

The first time I went to Amsterdam I stayed at the hotel Delta on damrak just a few minutes walk from central station. The second time I went I stayed at the hotel Terminus not too far from it.

When you go you fly into Schipol airport and you need to get the train (train station in the airport basement) to central station, so basically if you stay near central station you dont have to travel too far and you're a stones throw away from the red light district.

Its all ded easy and even if you've no intention whatsoever of shaggin a prossie the red light district is great - cafe bars, bars, sex theatres and women in windows to look at - its a hell of a place!
