Xbox 360 Can no longer see Music or video throgh 360 dash board

Having just got back my 360 from Microsoft and plugging it all back in I decided to listen to some music through the 360 dash board but after trying and selecting my computer as to where the music is it is saying it cant connect but it could before. So I tried my videos to view some wmv-hd I had and same problem and agin with pictures. I have already set up media centre extender to view music and transcode video through and that works fine so why cant I see it through the dash board my setup hasnt changed I have turned my firewall off yet I can see it through media centre extender. Last time it worked was before I sent it back and befor the spring update. Does it only work with media player 11 now? I have version 10 because it wont update for some reason:0 but it worked before the spring update and my 3 red lights. Does anyone have any ideas I am using windows media centre edition with media player 10

Don't quote me as I don't have WMC, try it anyway if you like.

Go the the system blade on your 360, select Windows Media Center, then select disconnect. Then go to the media blade on your 360 and select Windows Media Center then the set up key appears, hopefully your pc will say something about something wanting to share and to enter the 8 digit code that the 360 gave you, enter it and I think that's it, if not then sorry mate, I tried.
