I dunno if this is a Birmingham thing but all the garages around here seem to have unleaded and diesel at exactly the same price! I have never, ever seen that before... it seems very odd?

Its the same here in S Wales, with Lebanon kicking off again and Iran taking the piss expect the £1 litre before June is out!
"Where you are is what you eat. When I'm in London I'll have beans on toast for lunch. On holiday what? Tapas? Go on then I'll have a bit. You eat whatevers in that area"

I dont even know the pump prices never look just fill the thing up.
We Only Need Nine men, we only need nine men.
Same here too - why WTF?!
What was taking the piss was diesel being more expensive than petrol...the duty is the same and diesel is a far cruder fuel (cheaper to make) than petrol.
Diesel was only more expensive because it was getting so popular...supply and demand i.e. the fuel companies ripping us off.

every week I get an email like
Spoiler:
Also you can log on and find a map with XX number of cheapest locations within XX radius.
I never bother either.
Has anyone else noticed if you fill your tank to the top you get an extra 3-5 miles per £10. Has anyone else noticed if you are changing gear over XXXXrpm you get worse mileage. Cars are gonna rip you off, end of. If you aren't happy, live with the bus like I currently am.
Before anyone asks, if my local pump happens to be the cheapest, I'll make a point of using it, and my mum asks me every week for the updates.
i find the measure is more important than the price
some garages don't half give a short measure and if you look at your reciept or the litre readout on the pump you'l see the discrepency between the actual amount it is per ltr and the measure you get for your money
some gararges are worse than others
My local Tesco has diesel 1p liter cheaper than unleadded at 93.9.
As my car is diesel . . . .bonus!
been paying £1.02 for the last few weeks on V Power. Its a rip off.
The price per litre doesnt affect me because I always put in £20
There are huge differences in price at the moment all over, some places in bolton are at 93.9 for diesel others are 97.9. There are most places selling petrol for the same price as diesel but the others diesel is cheaper. just like it used to be but the difference is only 1p
