wifi usb dongle advice please

hi
I'm gonna go and buy a Wii today and would like to connect it to the internet through my wirless router..

is wifi built in or

do I have to buy a usb dongle?
does it have to be official nintendo one or will any usb dongle work?

newbie to the world of wii but hope to be bowling champ by this afternoon!!

I haven`t got a Wii, but just looked on Play.

The Specs: Wii boasts 512 megabytes of internal flash memory, two USB 2.0 ports and built-in Wi-Fi capability. A bay for an SD memory card will let players expand the internal flash memory. Design was optimized with state-of-the-art processing technologies that minimize power consumption, keep the console compact and enable the "sleepless" WiiConnect24 mode.

Users can connect wirelessly using IEEE 802.11b/g, or with a USB 2.0 LAN adaptor. Wii also can communicate wirelessly with Nintendo DS.

So I guess you should be ok & don`t need any dongle.

well good luck finding one! they're still hard to come by even though they were launched last december!

got mine today, nps.. Argos in Chester.. 4 in stock when I went.. setting it up later.. sorted on the wifi question now..

theres only 1 game u can play online atm mate mario strikers charger football so dont be thinking u can play bowling online (like i did!!!). happy gaming though mate

just set it up, gonna have a play tonight.. will set up the online stuff tomorrow.. tonight is just to get to grips with it and have a few beers along the way!
