Yeah parker's been roumord to be going to west ham for some time now, think it was since he gave the v's to the toon crowd for hasseling him for having a shite game.

If the money is right id happily let hime go, was promising at beguinning of his spell at newcaste, however his form is not consistant. Sometimes he can play as if he's been a toon fan since conception and sometimes he plays like he couldnt give a toss.

However i would not want to loose him if it means we get Joey Barton to replace, ok hes probs the better palyer of the 2, but do we need another twat in our team? NO!!

Yea, I could see this happening, with the Toon getting Barton. Barton is a better player imo, but it might just be he was a shining star in a poor poor city team.

as for parker - i think barton is probably a better player with more goal scoring ability, but parker does his work well, and does a lot without really being noticed. not sure it's worth the hassle of having another troublemaker though!

Um, if you look, he was the fourth best striker in the league... and that's playing with the Boro! C'mon, yes he is older but look at Big Sam's history, buying older (and far more experienced) players to help build the squad for a couple of years and then use the exp that they give to the players to build the other younger (and less experienced) players.

Looks like the parker deal has went through, undisclosed fee, bit reports are saying its £8.5million.

Also reports of us trying to sign David Rozehnal, not heard much about him, but seem like big sam is a big fan of his, tried to sign him for bolton in january.

Looks like the Barton deal will be completed tomorrow, hes passed a medical and agreed terms for a 5 year contract
