What XBMC do you use?

I've been using XBMC as my dash for sometime now and love it. I sold an old xbox I had to a mate yesterday, I went online and grabbed the new XBMC (XBMC-2007-05-27-PIMPED-linksboks) and put this one for him.

This version was the newest I could find and a nice new "media centre" look skin. Everything worked as normal, so I decided to put on my xbox. All runs ok but none of my games launch!!

There seems to be so many release popping up, just wondered what people on here were using? Do you bother updating, or is there a certain "rock solid" build thats best to use?

the last time i updated i went with XBMC-SVN_2007-04-20_rev8582-T3CH and ive had no probs the one before that though gave me a bit of hassle with my network (kept dropping the network) normally though if somethings working i dont change it till i see something in the newer releases that i want to have a go with (or like this time i had a previous release that was that old i couldnt download any new scripts via the xbox)

I use XBMC-SVN_2007-02-16_rev7841-T3CH-MC360 and have done since Feb this year, no problems at all with it.
I updated once after installing the above release but reverted back as I couldn't get the weather to work.
You've gotta love xbmc.

I used to use the Pimped releases.

Latest one is XBMC-2007-05-27-PIMPED-linksboks I believe.

I *still* have evox installed as my dash, but my xbox is mostly used for xbmc

I keep two versions installed, one is always the latest stable release, and then i keep another one that i install the latest cvs one on every few weeks. I always use the stable one if ive got friends round to watch a movie - just in case

Yeah this is what I put on my friends with no problems. I was liking the new media centre skin to. I then put it on mine and every time I launched a game (from HD) I just got a black screen. Maybe a clean install is the answer.

Stupid question, I know, but how do you check? I have one that looks like WMCE and works well, but I was thinking about changing it, just because.

Depends what skin your using to how you get there. It's under System, then system settings or something like that , at the bottom of the screen is all the details.
