I got a phone call today at 3pm. Between 10am and 1pm today some robbing little bastards in broad daylight kicked my front door in and knicked my 7 day old 40" Samsung LCD TV. I wouldnt mind but i cut the box up and disposed of it so noone outside could see it and ive been closing my blinds so noone could see it.

got no tv now. the thing is there was a ps3, 360 and a pioneer surround sound system there and they didnt even touch them. Gotta have a new door put in so thats a bonus as the other needed a lick of paint.

Im just worried about my new tv getting nicked again. Fucking scum.

Sorry to hear that mate.. not much worse than having scum invade your 'space' whatever they nick, made me blood boil and recall it vividly, would've chaired the fuckers if I had caught them.

Think hard about security from now on, these scum may figure you got insurance and wait a while, then strike again hoping you claimed for a replacement. Even a false alarm box/surveillance camera etc. can put them off, there are easier targets elsewhere and that's what they prefer.

My door is half metal half wood and i had an alarm which was going off in the middle of the day while they pinched it. Security wise the only thing i think i could do is to put shutters up. Its getting mad these days. I was chatting to one of my neighbours last night and they were saying that their friend had been held at knifepoint in bed to get their keys to their type R. Im just glad my scooby wasnt here otherwise they would have taken that aswell.
