Banned from EBAY for a YEAR.... HELP...

Ive had a fe issues with an ebay account.... and after sorting everything... heres the last email I recieved from them....

have they blocked your IP ?? otherwise creat new creat and use different credit card n your details.

i've got a lifetime ban for doing the exact same thing, i didn't even get a 12 months, i just made another account n got caught after the first one being banned

best bet is to just make a new one, and use different card details if you want to sell, do a search on here too, there was a topic recently on it

I basicaly had 5 account..... (Dont ask why)

3 were just buying accounts.....

2 were selling accounts.... (One shop and one Own stuff) Both on different cards etc...

One of the selling accounts had an issue with some items going missing in the post.... i did exactly as they asked..... but then i got the emaila sper my first post....

Register at a different address too with different name and contact details. ie, nothing at all similar to your previous account(s).

If i got that email,Id say FAKE straight away,i thought there real emails would be more professional then this.

Seems theres nothing you can do m8.There just money grabbing cunts that dont give a fook!

I have edited some of the details out of the email they sent me.....hence why it looks dodgy..... but that arrived about a day after I faxed them.... it all the right detials in header.... defo genuine...

I could easily setup under a diff name and address etc... but id still be using my current IP....

Also if i used different name / address how would i go about getting payemnts sent to me, or recieving parcels..... surely if i changed shipping address id get sussesed..

What I'd do is say fuck off ebay, becuase clearly you're not abiding to their rules. It's their site and without their [minimal] protection, it'd be even worse for phishing and scamming, so really, good luck to ya, I hope to never deal with anyone but a registered shop or a casual seller/buyer.

I doubt they use IP logging - with the number of people using ebay they would have massive problems if they blocked any ranges (ie, not just specific addresses) and even if they did block individual addys then with the volume of users, the chances are someone will get allocated that IP again on a dynamic and get falsely accused.
Anyway, do you have dynamic or static IP?

Don't think they bother checking ip's. Just think of all the people dynamically allocated an ip from a pool every time they log on.

I'm pretty sure (but not 100%) that they'll ban your postal address from creating any accounts. So therefore, you can't set up another one in another name (wife, mum, dad,etc.) at your address. But as I said, i'm not 100% on that.

they DO register your IP, i know this for a fact and have been told this by my sister in law who works for paypal. if you re-register, at a different address, with a diff bank card etc etc, but your name and dob, they WILL eventually ban you, sometimes it can take up to a year for this to happen! i have the proof of this with several accounts i have had in the past. if you have been banned, i would suggest you either take it on the chin OR get someone else to register for you, those really are your only two options. using an ebay account in someone elses name, but with your own paypal account will also result in a ban for both ebay and paypal accounts. its easier to get banned from paypal now, than it is to get banned from ebay,its also much harder to get back on paypal. paypal will also hold your funds for 180 days if you so much as even look at them the wrong way. so the top and bottom of it is, you need to get someone you trust to create a new paypal and ebay account for you and (this is the most imp. part!) MUST not log on from your IP you were banned from. i also would delete and cookies if you are going to use the same computer but on a diff IP. i dont know for certain if they check for exsisiting cookies but i wouldnt put it past them. PM if you need any further help

^^The solution - just register from your mates/parents house, university, college etc...Then renew your IP.

the ip registration isnt the be all and end all, its just a method they use for flagging the accounts, they are then looked over by human eye and your fate is decided!

Personally I think you were rightly banned and have no grounds to be beefing.

I can see no legit reasons for five accounts other than greed/fraudulent activities.

Right let me clear this up.... the 5 accounts issue that seems to be bothering some of you here...

Account One.... Selling / Buying account... For Business only... (Keeps accountant happy)

Account Two...Selling / Buying account... For Personal use Only....

Accounts Three,Four and Five are just buying accounts.... Private buying accounts to stop Nosey mates seeing what ive been bidding on.... They have never been used for bidding up....and FYI the technical term is (Shill Bidding)....
