    Here's the Link

It doesn't seem that great a laptop for the money. Integrated graphics kills it for me.

the words acer and decent don't go hand in hand for me after the numerous problems I've seen with acer products.

    Not a bad deal actaully...

Acer IMO are better than Dell, but as mentioned above the integrated graphics is a shit.

I have bought several Acer laptops over the last year and they have all been fine, and they generally feel a lot better than the budget equivalent Dell units.

You can get variations of the same spec for a fairly decent price at www.shopacer.co.uk. Just get one with dedicated graphics!

The Ferrari ones are pretty good BTW!

I'll go along with that. My 3 month old ACER is back with the technicians for the second time this month. Load of overpriced tat

Nothing wrong with Acer. Know lots of people who use them without any problems.

tbh I shouldnt really blame ACER. It's actually PC world's cockups. Firstly supplying me with incorrect battery model which was duly fried after a month. And then "repairing" and fitting the incorrect connector for my adaptor.

So I therefore withdrawn my ACER slaggin off and pass it on the PC world. I'd say avoid PC world at all cost but anyone with half a brain knows that anyway (apart from the missus who bought the lappy)

The wife asked for one a few weeks ago, i came across a 10% code for empire in the mse forums, i was actually looking for an lcd tv when i saw the lappy on the homepage and thought it was a decent deal compared to what dell where offering so bought it there and then, being delivered monday.
Now i've got the job of setting up the wi-fi for her, should be fun.

I too have bought a fair few acers for the past 2 years.. ive only had 1 problem with 1 of them. you get what you pay for at the end of the day... but i would say the build quality of acer is one of the best for the price.
