Digital-Forums IRC Last.FM duckduckgo
Guns don't kill people rappers do, I'm a fucking rapper and I might kill you.
If you donate to the forum you get access to the shoutbox which is what most people use.
Ooo I never saw the chat room.
I'll go in if you do... I got fa else to do at work hehe
i was suprised how few people used the irc channel when df was down.
give it a go... if you dare ...
Probably something to do with the fact that SOME of the knobs who sit in there moderating are a bunch of jumped up idiots who abide by no rules other than "I don't agree with your opinion and I will kick you off and ban you. Ho,ho I am sooo funny, I can kick anyone off who doesn't agree with me"
DF actually runs by rules. As a moderator, you may not agree (or even like) a member but you do not kick off a member unless they cross some set rules.
So anyway, if you want to have some chat just as long as you keep sucking up to which ever pleb is in charge of the ban button... sure use the IRC channel
However, if you want somewhere that IS governed by some actual basic rules and is controlled farely then sick to the shoutbox as Mr Mule suggests!
P.s.
I thought all females got a free VIP membership... you might wanna have a word with Rap?
P.p.s
No doubt someone will now mention why I got kicked out of IRC... so I will tell you. If I remember correctly I was talking about the shoutbox and how I thought that the shoutbox should display the chat from bottom upwards (and not visa versa)... or something along them lines. That apparently was enough to warrant a kick and a ban (because I was talking bollocks).... and I was a mod at the time!!!!!!
You must remember that the IRC channel absolutely nothing to do with DF other than the name and people from DF frequent it.
Funny that. I've been using the IRC channel for a good while and have never seen anyone from DF kicked (on purpose).
i've never been kicked and i really do post bollox
Yeah... its mad. I mean I've been driving all the time now for years and I haven't seen one car crash. All these people with horseshoe shaped cars must be making it up or imagining it!
The "knobs" moderating in there are the same "knobs" that moderate hereProbably something to do with the fact that SOME of the knobs who sit in there moderating are a bunch of jumped up idiots who abide by no rules other than "I don't agree with your opinion and I will kick you off and ban you. Do you often make things up in your head then decide they are trueYou must remember that the IRC channel absolutely nothing to do with DF other than the name and people from DF frequent it.
The laughable thing is that these comments are advertising exactly how it is in IRC.
It is a little boys club where the rules are akin to 1940's Nazi Germany (unless you are a regular member of said club). Don't expect anyone to ever mention that who ever kicked me was out of order cause I was only expressing a none abusive opinion.... no its actually my fault for being female and having an opinion!
This is exactly why DF has so many people on per day and IRC only has the hand full (even when DF is down).
Don't get me wrong, you have the choice to what ever you want on DF... but don't then be surprised when how "few people" use it when it is as welcoming as a fart in a spacesuit!
1) Not all of the knobs in the IRC are the same as in here. When I was kicked it was not by an moderator on the forum (but I can't remember exactly who it was).
2) Make up things? After the kicking incident, I directly asked why I could be kicked as a DF moderator and I was told because the IRC is nothing to with DF directly, it was just an old school thing that has continued as a separate thing. However, if I am wrong and Admin would like to correct me then I have been given some wrong information by a senior member of the DF team (who I won't name for obvious reasons)
3) In the wording "SOME of the knobs who sit in there moderating are a bunch of jumped up idiots". I did not mean to imply that they are all knobs (mixed up my words). I meant some of the moderating in the IRC channel is done by knobs.

Hmmm, I do remember seeing posts about someone that used to sit in IRC and kick lots of people.
Seems you're getting your knickers in a twist about someone that is long gone though.
Rag week DG?
wheel come off hoover?
It wasn't a moderator but you don't know who it was1) Not all of the knobs in the IRC are the same as in here. When I was kicked it was not by an moderator on the forum (but I can't remember exactly who it was).
You have failed to understand the answer as you obviously fail to understand mIRC by your comments.2) Make up things? Naaa... i'm useless at remembering user names. I just can clearly remember that at the time I was a moderator and I was kicked off IRC for something really fricking trivial by someone who was not a member of the DF moderating team at the time. I'm sure when they read this thread they will make themselves known.
ok so.......sorry for starting this can of worms lol .... i dothink tho that assuming just cos she has an oppinion that she must have PMT is slight out of order... i use mIRC alot [all day infact]so i might check it out.
