R4 DS Loader 1.10 released

Update time for all you R4 owners out there.

Update R4 v1.10 kernel 2007-6-20
1) DLDI auto-patching
2) Solved the 1111 and 1151 save problem.

The R4 Team have released loader version 1.10. This version includes DLDI auto patching, meaning that you don't have to patch DLDI supported homebrew before copying it across to your memory card. The R4DS patches the homebrew on the fly.

This version also fixes the recently (understatement) discovered problem with The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass 2MB flash save type. Congratulations to the R4 team for such a fast release!

Quite a good day for us DS owners indeed, with Zelda out - ok so it's jap and an English version of Sim City as well !!

DS #1158: The Legend of Zelda: Mugen no Sunadokei (Japan)

Just downloaded it from newsgroups. a.b.emulators.nintendo-ds but i'm sure it will soon start appearing in the usual places

Not tried it yet but havea feeling it will be quite Japanese intensive since the previous Zelda games have a fair bit of text but I don't care. Can't wait for the US release so this is better than nothing !

ok just had a quick bash of it for a few mins. very nice graphics and the cut scenes are pretty nice, everything is in Jap apart from the "Touch the screen" bit at the start and there is lots and lots of dialogue ! I'm sure in a few days a FAQ will be up on gamefaqs. Control of the character is via the stylus. Will give it a proper go later on when I have more time. Don't think I will play it too much as I don't want to spoil it, just want to get a feel for it until the US or Euro version comes out which will hopefully be soon.

Remember guys to update your firmware to 1.10 if you want Zelda to work on your R4. There is apparently a new ndsrominfo out for Supercard users as well. Cannot confirm this as I don't bother with the SC anymore.

nintendo must be taking the piss this week, the dragonquest/mario title would guarentee them a landslide on the sales charts, but Zelda in the same week, there wont be a Ds left in japan!
