    Default A few from Florida

Recently got back from our holiday in the grand ole US of A.

Again, another excellent two weeks but this time the holiday was even better as I managed to upgrade my camera kit to a Canon 20D (With Grip) and a 28-135 IS lens.

Pictures are mixed, some taken with the PAS others with the 20D

I really like the pic of the dog from Lady and the tramp. Fantastic colours. Pity you got the people walking across the bottom though.

I'd say shots 2,3 and 4 were taken with the 20D. Let us know please Scotto.

I did a fair bit of research prior to going. There are a few dealers on International Drive which will rip you left, right & centre - AVOID.

Go to a proper dealer and speak to a genuine sales person who will talk you through the purchase and offer advice along the way. After reading forums I opted for Colonial Photographic which is in central Orlando and real easy to find. These guys are superb, not pushy at all and really do offer common sense advice.

    Highly recommended

Well I didn't expect to be completely right.

I still use my powershot g6 , it's easy to carry round and take "snaps" with but still get really good shots like you've got with the IXUS.
