My fiesta is on its last legs (awwwww) and i have been looking at a 96,N 1.8 A4 SE, 125000 miles which seems reasonably low.
I was wondering what I should look out for with these, any bad points? Regular faults?

We Only Need Nine men, we only need nine men.
second cam belt change is due at 120k. Make sure water pump and tensioner were done at the same time.
125k sounds a little on the low side for an 11 yo family/small exec. get it checked proper - AA/RAC do a full check for £200. With what they find, you'll knock at least that amount off the price.
If it has AC, check that it blows hot and cold when you set temp high/low.
Nice car, no real faults, not the most dynamic drive, not great room in the back, good boot.
Good cars overall, but like any other car, has its faults as posted above. You can't really go wrong with German engineering, VAG don't make shite. You only have to look at how they turned Skoda around to see that. Any service history with it?
The one I was looking at had gone, we are going to have a gander at one tomorrow with FSH and about 127K IIRC. Thanks all for the help.
