Just watched first episode and I really enjoyed it!

Its about a forensic expert who is also a serial killer who murders vicious criminals the police cant catch, very odd, but very watchable.

the only thing that bugs me in this show is the way dexters sister talks ...lol... maybe it's just me but it's sooo annoying.

watched the first 2 eps, just gonna watch the 3rd...

must say, im really enjoying this series.. quite a novel idea, this time you're on the side of the serial killer and the cops as opposed to just one.. its a nice concept..

but i have to agree about the sister... incredibly irritating voice.. somewhat ruins it for me a little, but just a little..

i think theyre trying to make her the human side of him, and show that shes fallable with the swearing but its just not enough to compensate for the horrible voice, i hope she gets chopped up by the end of the series lol

Seen the first two episodes of this now, it's pretty OK, reminds me a little of Pat Bateman in the book.

Is Dexter's father dead? Could he be the "chopper"? A bit boring that Dexter kills them the same way, although in different locations. The sister is annoyingly dumb.

this is a great series...i`mj really enjoying it so far...i dont know whether it will make it onto british TV, as it seem to be a little too "out there" for the TV companies over here...but it would be good to see it though.....still if it doesnt theres always good old newsgroups...LOL

I watched the last episode yesterday... it was really good... I never guessed what would happen either which made it more enjoyable... and possibly the best episode yet!

I was happy to read there will be a second series and possibly a third ...I just hope it doesn't loose its originality.

Also, something I only just found out... even though it says on tv.com I never took any notice of it, the ideas for series one were taken from the book Dearly Devoted Dexter, and apparently the second series will coincide with the release of the 3rd Dexter book next year!

Yeah really liked this one wasn't to sure with the first few episodes but then got well into it, the sister character is really annoying but
every one else fits in nicely well cast... and by the end why is it you really started liking a serial killer ??

I love his one liners "If i had a heart it would be braking right now!"
