Error Codes on Live

Just rang up CS as my 2nd replacement for a 3RL console won`t connect to Live, just fails on the Xbox Live bit sayin "Xbox Live (Failed)"

Error codes:
W: 0000 - 000B
X: 0000 - F001
Y: 00C2 - 03E0
Z: 0000 - 0000

I rang them and he didnt know what they were, and said someone will call me in the next 2-3 days - and I thought what the hell and also blagged a free wireless pad and charge kit for it - I`ll be back for more soon, he didn`t even question me!

Hope the console isn`t banned (tho I think it says that if you are) as it`ll mean yet ANOTHER 20 odd days waiting!

All I can find on the net regarding those codes is its an old Xbox1 eeprom fault - which surely wouldnt apply to a new 360.....any ideas welcomed

Hi mate,
I had exactly the same thing, replaced console displaying them errors.
I searched for hours on the net and couldnt find anything on the 360, even posted on the xbox forums but nothing came of it.
I phoned them lots of times and I got told technical admins would ring and no-one knew what it was, there own error codes lol.
Anyway eventually they gave in and offered to replace the console they picked it up 2 weeks ago and I havnt heard anything since.
So nag them and you should get offered a replacment.

Just tried mine for the first time in months, mainly to check whether or not i'm banned and i'm getting the same, but with error codes:

W: 0000 - 000B
X: 0000 - F001
Y: 00A8 - 6820
Z: 8015 - 190D

It is a replacement box that I got back in Feb.

Whats the crack with the replacement gear? do i just need the serial number off the accessory?

UPDATE: Just read a FAQ on XS and looks like i'm just banned , don't get the the usual ban message, but:

Q: How do I know if I've been banned?
A: Run a network connection test, if the connection to Xbox Live Fails then check the error codes. If your Z value is 8015 - 190D then it means you're banned.

Well at least I know it isn`t a banned console, which was my first thought when it wouldnt work - the new one they sent is battered and mfr date of 16-09-2005.

dunno what luck i'd have complaining that i'd never done anything to get it banned and it must have been during its previous incarnation as someone elses?

I thought mine was banned but I checked the codes and struck out.

I agree its pathetic m8, I got mine back, had it a week and its went off again.
Its nearly been 2 months since my last game on live and im not even banned.
They give me a one month card free, I want another!

I`ve got 2 1 month cards now, both replacements came with one, and it`s a bloody good job as well as I have also been 2-3 months without my 360 now!

I will give them a ring from work tomorrow to follow up as I don`t hold up much hope of them ringing me. Will update if I get any info, hopefully of a fix variety rather than returning it again.

from what i can find your error codes rikman are an unknown fault, prob a network problem. i think mate your gonna have to send it back AGAIN. f**king tossers i think you should kick up a big fuss about it, say your gonna go to the papers and that
