    Photos Up On The Low

    okay so ive been trying to enhance my photoshop skills I still need to learn how to use the dodge and burn tool properly, image below is made up from 3 different exposures HDR'd and then the spounge tool was used to saturate the colors. its my first attempt

    To be honest the only thing that looks photo shopped is the red. The rest just looks like a lovely summer day in July 2007.

    yeah its quickly becoming known as the summer of rain

    I wasnt trying to make it look shoppe'd just to improve the pic by using photoshop, if I could use the dodge & burn tool im sure there is tons more detail in the cloud's

    Its a nice looking photo, just depressing because it is reminding me of this beautiful "summer of rain" as you put it.

    I don't think the HDR really did the scene any justice, or rather, perhaps you needed to bracket a little wider for the HDR to have any effect. I think the picture itself lacks any real contrast for me as you say, bringing some of the detail in the clouds would have helped a lot. That's my honest 2cents anyway
