Default Now I can see where 'David Brent' got his character.

Ok, I'm not the most avid TV watcher and have missed hell of a lot of the comedy that has come out in the last decade (Had better things to do than sit in front of a box).
Well, I recently signed up to lovefilm on a 90 trial (Thought I would stock up on films etc, then cancel )

I've been watching Fawlty Towers with John Cleese and I'm Alan Partridge and can clearly see every mannerism that is David Brent. I do like Brent, but did think he was unique lol.

How you an utter those two names in the same sentence is beyond me.

Basil Faulty - Comedy's finest creation
David Brent - A piss poor attempt at sattire

    Down with Gervais!
