what you got is a failure to communicate
    love that saying

but basically the firewall/antivirus is scanning all the actions you do and is slowing you down

why not uninstall all the sw and try the built in windows firewall i know its shiit but if that is as slow then you prob got issues with your computer not being able to take it

on my kiddies computer, she has a sim problem as norton just eats up the computers speed, so i use pc-guard, this is a free software from the V1rg1n set of shysters, you could try that

    Basil,

How is the comodo firewall still going strong?

Anyone else use this, worth instaling!

I have used Comodo for a while now, it is a bit fiddly to use but pretty good

i found it real buggy in the past but i'm sure they've ironed out the kinks by now.
i just run with my router's firewall+nat and windows firewall and once a month use mcafee pitstop online scan to scan for viruses. plenty enough protection.
