    Photos Ice Plant

Amongst the most colourful when in bright summer sunshine, is the "Ice Plant", Dorotheanthus bellidiformis. This is the Magic Carpet genus, one that produces a Riot of Colours among the bedding plants in gardens. They close up when the sun goes off them, so mid-afternoon is the best time to capture the vibrant blooms.

    Spoiler:

Hope you like this one folks. Even though the flowers have short firm stems, the strong coastal winds kept the flowers moving so it was tough getting this as sharp and focused as I did.

    Hey bilbo

Cracking shots. That 105 is doing the business, isn't it. What 's happening with the tubes now then? Are you going to try then with the 105mm?

MML, I will when the condidtions are right. Its so windy at the moment finding a subject that stays still is impossible, and tubes will accentuate any movement massively, so I will have to be patient m8.
