My latest playtime project - be gentle

Hi all.

Well, i'm a bit apprehensive about posting this as I hate negative rep, but hey, I need opinions of people who know their stuff.

This is my latest playtime project:

Was thinking of adding a method for user to submit insults to database but wouldn't show until approved by me.

Let me know your thoughts, usability, design (or lack of it) etc, and if you fancy clicking a few google ads in appreciation, I won't hold it against you.

No, there is no point, no point at all.

Just something to test my PHP and AJAX skills with and offer something for free.
Also, i'm testing out my new SEO interests in it.

I would scan the forums here to get far better insults

Nothing wrong with the site I guess, I just don't see the point of it in it's current state. But if it's just for testing your skills (then why the ads?), well done.

You never wake up one morning and think, what the hell am I gonna do with that huge database of insults??

Must just be me then ...

I guess your average DF user is well versed in insults

But think of those poor people who aren't members of DF, now they have lived very sheltered lives and sometimes may need help and advice on the subject of insults.

Was thinking of making it like a trading place for insults, like you see in films 'in tha hood' (no offence if your from the hood and I pronouced it wrong!) where they say, your mamma is so fat .... make it a competition or something.

But thats in the future.

The ads?
Well, I got a small amount of ongoing costs and if someone where to help pay for those costs by clicking the links then I guess I break even. I'm certainly never gonna become a millionaire out of them.
Also, it's had 8 bookmarks on Delicious and 31 reviews on Stumble Upon so it looks like it's getting some traffic!
