oh and the old tattoist had managed about 20 mm of outline...but i stayed and had it finished.

Why don't you start small, not with a big fuck off design like that.

if thats the one you want go for it, its going to hurt but its not that bad the fellas on here are just winding you up lol

personally id go for a big design like that one but maybe wrapped around the shoulder so it goes half on your chest and back as well as a little on the arm that way you can see it (when its your 1st its important to see it lol) dont let em put you off though m8 if you can take the pain go for it

dont get some thing small to begin with cos all that happens is 1, you'll go back for the big one and 2, you'll get some thing that you didnt want and wont be happy with that will be in the way of one you'll want in future

if thats the design you want m8 then go for it and as casio says dont get something small just to test your pain threshhold if ya want something like that on ya back but are worried about the pain theres no reason why you can have it done in many sessions it may cost ypu more but think its gonna be with you forever so ya could have 30min sessions or 2 hour sessions i personally like the pain for the first few hours and then its starts to get a bit uncomfortable i sat for 7 hours non stop but the tattoist was shit lol and took the piss

If you want it, get it done. Its going to be pricey due to the size and the detail. It will take a couple of sessions with healing time in between.

I know several people who hate the little ones they had done just to see what it was like, in the end they had them covered with the one big design they wanted in the first place.

Personally i had a small one done on my leg , which i wanted and was a one off and then the big one on my back, no regrets but no testing either.

Tattoos hurt but millions of people go back and have more so it is bearable

yeah it is going to cost a fair bit although depending on the size and complexity (and how long youve known your tattooist) you may get it done on the hourly rate,

thay can both hurt and irritate, the shading irritate's a little but still stings, the out line will hurt to begin with and depending on where its done (back/chest) could get worse or stop hurting altogether, it depends on where you have it done
