Arnold Schwarzenegger Signs for Terminator 4 and True Lies 2

California Governor and actor Arnold Schwarzenegger has decided to return into the movie business, signing to star in two big money sequels.

Schwarzenegger, 58, has agreed to work once again with the Oscar-winning director James Cameron for the forth "Terminator" project and for the "True Lies" sequel, according to website Moviehole.net.

Actress Eliza Dushku, who will star as the daughter of Arnold in "True Lies 2", says: "We all caught up. Me, Jamie Lee Curtis, Arnold and Jim (James Cameron), to talk about "True Lies 2", about a month ago in California. We're doing it. Definitely doing it. I'm revved."

John Rosengrant, the special effects expert from Stan Winston Studios, confirms the rumor by saying: "It's too early to figure out what a new Terminator would look like, or anything like that.
You see the script and what spark comes from that, (talk) with the director and see what the vision is. It does no good to dream it up unless you write a treatment and try to get out there and sell it yourself."

True lies was a great film - hope the second is just as good.

IMO they fucked the terminator series up with T3. T1 & T2 were brilliant (some of the best films made I reckon) however T3 was a pile of wank and spoilt the whole lot for me.

Cameron didn't do 3 because his Ex (Linda Hamilton) would not star in it... She is dead in the story now so I guess this is Camerons way of finishing the movies off properly before it goes to the rumoured TV series.

True, Arnie can't seriously play the terminator again at his age, its been 23 years since the first one and nobody can look the same age after that amount of time no matter who they are.

True Lies 2 then hey? Hmmm. First one was ace, one of my fave Arnie flicks certainly. Can a 2nd one be any good?

If either of these 2 films make it to the big screen with James Cameron directing then there shouldnt be anything to worry about, James Cameron in my mind is the hallmark of a quality film.

Terminator 3 was a real letdown, a fourth will probably be tragic. Arny just didn't carry himself very well and he won't be any younger in the next one.

i think in this age of filming, most of arnies scenes will be cgi'd anyway and all they will neeed him for is his voice. star wars was a good example of that.

And before any of you say it, I know there isn't anything technically wrong with this but it does seem bizarre and if he was my governer I'd rather know he was fully concentrating on his political duties.

OK...T3 a little bit on the cheesy side...but I'm sure T4 will rock. True Lies 2...fuckin yeah!!!! Can't wait for it!

And for all the naysayers....Arnie could play the Terminator until he was 90, and still look like a ripped mofo...

I am less confident about T4 but hey, there's nothing to lose, if you don't like it, don't watch it again, if you do, then bring it on. it seems for some it's sometimes difficult to ignore or forget??

I've not seen true lies, so i'm off to download! I have a feeling i've not seen it becuase I've seen some and thought it was crap.

As for James Cameroon being some kind of perfect film god or whatever - you need to open your eyes, he's nowhere near that good and I'm not even into my films that much, open your eyes, there's many out there to see, enjoy and respect just as much, if not more.

I've not seen true lies, so i'm off to download! I have a feeling i've not seen it becuase I've seen some and thought it was crap.

Gotta say, True lies is an excellent film - I love it! Well worth the download!

I agree. I don't think additional sequels can ruin previous classics in the series. I'd always prefer they have a pop and if it's shit you just don't watch it again. What have you got to lose.
