blue screen of death

just updated motherboard to 775, switch on pc , post goes as far as windows XP loading screen then blue screen of death with this
***stop, 0x0000007B (0xF894D528, 0x0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

is this a memory issue please?

Last time I saw this it was on some Fujitsu PCs we bought at work. Needed a BIOS update to stop it. Worked fine since then.

try chucking in your XP disk and doing a repair of windows

We find this helps when introducing a new mobo. All the old hardware is installed on windows and this may be causing the error

As above ,XP hates hardware changes, and if you replace a motherboard you should always plan on a reformat and clean install anyway.Unless its a like for like change.Also check that all the components on the new board are seated correctly.
