David Duchovny heads up the cast in this comedy about a novelist with sex and drug addictions who is struggling to raise his daughter half the time , while having problems with his ex-wife. Other cast members include Evan Handler, Madeleine Martin, Madeline Zima and Natascha McElhone.

We meet 30ish year old Hank Moody in a church asking God to help him get his life back on track. He is then distracted by a hot nun. Hank sleeps with many women in this episode including a woman who is cheating on her enraged and muscular husband and a 16-year-old girl who he thinks is in college. Moody also has to interact with ex-wife Karen who might still love him. With her, they share the custody of their 12 year old daughter Madeleine who is wise beyond her years but is starting to have a sex life, which freaks out both of her parents.

unless you got a way of making rapget automatically get new episodes of specific shows as soon as they are uploaded/released/aired as with torrents, i dont wanna know.

people have to upload to rapidshite too.. which makes it just as slow if not slower for tv episodes as NG's.

First off, Hi.........my first post here I saw the pilot of Californication yesterday. I was very impressed with this series. It was dark and very very funny. David Duchovny was perfect as Hank Moody. If i didn't already have Showtime i'd be on the phone right now to order it. Can't wait for the series to start.
